Reporting version count of specific documents

Is there a way to display the amount of versions a document went through in a project level report? This data point would be helpful when diagnosing when projects miss deadlines or exceed turnaround time averages.

We have utilized document reports that are grouped by project to achieve a similar result

Do you also group by project folder? That's the next thing I'm trying to build out in this document report. thanks!
