Hoping the community can help me with sharing any use cases for 3rd. party workflows in a marketing scenario.

Hi @DonnaBr4

Thank you for your question! Our customers often use a combination of external forms, automated workflows (eg. Workfront Fusion), and integrations when working with third party vendors who do not have a Workfront license.

Do these third party vendors have a Workfront account at all? If they do, you can configure a request queue in Workfront and enable request intake via email. That way the vendor can send an email to the queue and have it automatically create a request in Workfront, which can follow a certain path through the use of queue topics, topics groups and routing rules.

If the vendors don't have a Workfront account, one approach to this using a Fusion scenario is below:

  1. Use an external form (eg. Google Forms, Microsoft Forms, Jotform)
  2. Connect it to Workfront via Workfront Fusion or API
  3. When a vendor submits the form, Fusion/API creates a request in Workfront

Enable users to email an issue into a Request Queue project
