As promised, here is the exported Q&A from the session today!

Are you able to copy an existing request in the new experience? Or will that be available? I couldn't figure out how to do that in the new experience.

  • We are actively working on essential feature parity between the legacy and new experience, so copy is something we do not have at the moments but is in our plans for the next quarter
  • Nothing about existing/old experience has changed so you can still copy requests, see Drafts tab, etc there.

[New Request Page] - Is it true that the default will be the new experience and that users will have to toggle off the new page instead of like previous enhancements where the users would "opt in"

  • Default is still the old experience but users will see an onboarding tooltip that offers users to check out the new experience.

When are drafts going to be available in the new requests view? Thank you! 🙂

  • Drafts will be available very soon, we are targeting end of November.

Will all previously submitted requests be migrated over to the new request experience? Currently can only see from July to present

  • Only requests submitted after July will appear in the new experience.
  • We will not remove historical data, so there will still be a way to access old issues after deprecation of the old experience, but those will not be on the new list.
That's our plan, we want to make sure we have the right feature parity before deprecating the old experience, so it is not going away in the near months for sure.

When will the new requests page experience be available to adjust in the layout templates?

  • We are not that far from sunsetting the old experience, we will not have old vs new for admins. But pre-configured views are coming.

Will Adobe officially sunset the old "requests" queue experience? If so, what is the exact date?

  • That is the plan, but we first want to make sure the new experience covers all your needs before sunsetting.

User Profiles: When we have a user that has dual roles, can we assign dual home teams?

  • The Home Team will still be one - as primary, but you can set additional teams in "Other teams"

Do we have to create Users in Admin Console now, because of the new User experience?

  • This change has not affect the processes you had before. There was an issue with the Admin Console that triggered approvals when system administrators added users. It should be resolved.

Can you do a webinar that focuses only on AI within Workfront and what the roadmap for that looks like in 2026?

When will the enhanced Assignment button be live in production? assume on the 16th?

  • Yes, it will be there.

How will we get access to GenStudio Foundation? Do we need the unified proofing experience to get the AI reviewer?

  • There's a link in the experience league article that will walk you through the steps to get access to Gen Studio for Performance Marketing. There are 3 prerequisites. You'll need to have migrated to Adobe IMS, you need to have Unified Approvals enabled and the you'll have to sign the Adobe Gen AI agreement.
  • Yes you will need to be in the new Unified Shell experience, and there is an AI addendum your org must sign. Workfront will prompt you for it if you have not yet signed to enable AI features.

Can there be more than one brand for the AI reviewer? (use case, scenario - an agency that serves many different brands)

  • You would create a reviewer per brand

Can the AI reviewer, review disclaimers and disclosures to confirm the correct ones have been added and that they match the approved disclaimers and disclosures?

  • Legal claims and copy guidelines are on the roadmap, but no exact release date at the moment.

What are the prerequisites for AI Reviewer?

  • There are 3 prerequisites. You'll need to have migrated to Adobe IMS, you need to have Unified Approvals enabled and the you'll have to sign the Adobe Gen AI agreement.

Is it available for Select Plan licenses please?

  • At the moment, the beta is open to all Workfront licensed users.

When is AI Brand Reviewer going to be available for general release/not just beta?

  • We don't have a set GA date at this time.

Can you set a default filter on the WLB in user profiles?

  • The Workload Balancer under user's profile is already by default filtered to display work assigned to the logged-in user, so no additional configuration is needed at the user profile level.
  • What about setting WLB settings so completed tasks don't show. We are able to control that by using an external link created on WLB with preset filters and settings and then placing that on a dashboard (and pinned via layout template)

For the new request experience the documentation states it only shows requests from the last 1.5 months, has that changed at all? in preview we are seeing requests going back more than that and that is what we prefer. Requests should show for all time, not simply for the last 1.5 months

  • New experience shows requests submitted after July. So any new request submitted through the new experience will show up in the list, not just requests from the last 1.5 month.Only legacy issue requests (submitted through the old experience) submitted before July 2025 will not appear in the new experience. So, as you move forward with new experience for submitting a new request, you will see all the requests.

Workload Balancer: All users have view access to own demand, workload, and capacity - Regardless of access level.  Is there an exception for contributors who it would not make sense for?  Can we turn off for them?

  • The Workload Balancer is currently visible to all users, including contributors. In the near future, system administrators will be able to configure its visibility through layout templates.

Planning Question: Will you be able to see all views/timelines/calendars in the public link view? Rather than needing a separate link for each one?

  • No, that's not part of the roadmap currently. We generate separate links for each public view.

Just to confirm - are these calendar/timeline enhancements ONLY for those who have Workfront Planning?

  • Yes, these are only in Workfront Planning

Is there/will there be Outlook integration with Planner/Calendars?

  • That's not on the roadmap for the next 6 months at least.

Is there any documentation available about how to create a custom app?

  • Yes! Here are the articles:

This Fusion talk is reminding me--we haven't yet switched to the Adobe Unified Experience (probably happening for us later this year).  When it does, will any external API calls to WF (e.g., like from PowerBI) need to update the URL address?

  • AUE won't change your API calls. I would watch the deprecation schedule to make sure you are aware of versions changes and the API release notes for changes to endpoints.

Can you share the documentation on Chained scenarios

Where do I find documentation on Fusion APIs?

  • We will post them to Adobe Developer experience (adobe.developer.com) when they are released, please watch the Fusion release notes on experience league to see when they are released.
