Automated Proofs - how to deactivate or put on hold!?

We have built out automated proof workflows, which after much testing and tweaking, seem to be working well.

However, if a project gets stalled or put on hold, what is the best way to also put the proof on hold? Right now, it is stuck in stakeholder approval and shows up in their dashboard in "My Approvals" section. I don't want to delete the proof entirely, as it currently has 10 versions with comments that we'll need once the project is reactivated, but I want to clear this out of my stakeholders dashboard.

Any tips on the best way to do this? Thanks

Hi @tracyhu3

You can utilize the "lock proof" function to do this. It removes it from approval from the widget, but if a decision is not yet made it holds it in a "pending" status which matches the "on hold" nature of the project. Then when the project is ready to move forward again you can either unlock the proof or load a new version for review. Only downside I have seen with unlocking the proof is that it maintains the original dates, so depending on the duration of the hold that can be odd for approvers to receive a review from 2 months ago on their dash.

Proofs can be locked from within the proof through the left sidebar, or from within the proof workflow area in the top right of the header bar.
