Every organization can benefit from this lab on automating Workfront Boards from within Workfront or through Workfront Fusion. A basic understanding of Workfront Boards, Fusion, and APIs is helpful, but not necessary.

In this lab, learn automation best practices for Workfront Boards, including:

  • Add a standard checklist to a card
  • Using Boards for connecting tasks to meeting boards
  • Fine-tune your request management in Workfront

            We've added two new modules to the Workfront Boards Fusion Connector along with a new section "Comments".

            • Create a comment 
            • Read card comments

             

            These could potentially be used to enhance the notifications that Workfront sends and help accommodate for email notification needs on non-connected cards.

            Hello everyone!

             

            We received the feedback from the survey and we wanted to follow up here with the results and any of the constructive comments that were provided.  While the results were generally positive I am noting a couple of themes in the responses. 

             

            1. Sounds like we covered too much material

            2. Sounds like we went too fast for some and too slow for others (ties to #4)

            3. Sounds like we could have used more TAs. 

            4. Sounds like we could have done a better job on setting expectations around experience level.

            5. Sounds like people wanted more explanation of the use cases, the benefits of and understanding "why" we chose those and "what" the value may be from each.

             

            These are all things we will be looking to address in preparation for next year's Summit labs.  We appreciate all of your feedback as it helps us improve. 

             

            In addition, it sounds like some folks were frustrated by the move to the digital format of the lab books since 2023.  I will share that feedback with the lab oversight team.
