Experience League Training Updates

  • Create a project directly from a template: Create projects directly from templates by ensuring access rights, using the three-dot menu to select "Create Project," editing the project details as needed, and finalizing the process for an efficient setup alternative.
  • Copy an existing project: Easily duplicate projects by using the "Copy" option in the three-dot menu, renaming and setting the status to "Planning," copying custom data and forms, and transferring issues separately via the Issues tab for tailored project setups.
  • Create a global and a single-use approval process: Enhance approval workflows by leveraging both global and single-use approval processes for tasks, projects, or issues, implementing multi-level staged approvals, and promoting efficiency through reusability in project templates.
  • Apply an issue approval process in a request queue: Implement a default approval process to streamline request workflows, ensuring approved requests change their status appropriately to "New." Address confusion for rejected requests by selecting a status change to "Won't Resolve."
  • Benefits of Workfront Planning for UX Design teams: Learn how Workfront Planning boosts UX team efficiency by centralizing project tracking and aligning design work with business goals.

Community Questions: Can You Answer This?

The Community is an invaluable space to ask for feedback from a wide range of Workfront experts. However, sometimes a question can go unanswered. If you’re up for the challenge – take a look at some of these unsolved questions and see if you have the know-how to answer!

  • Requirements for Connecting Goals to Existing Projects: This community user is looking to connect a personal goal to an existing active project, and is wondering if there are any prerequisites to do so.
  • Workfront Planning Sum of Array Elements: In this Workfront Planning question, the community user is trying to understand if there’s a way to sum all the elements in an array so he can aggregate planned activities’ level of effort in a connected field.
  • Notifications on Proof Comments: A community user is curious about the level of flexibility for customizing the notifications the proof owner and project manager receive on a daily basis. In her ideal scenario, she would like to limit and disable the associated email notifications altogether.
