Becoming a reporting expert takes both time and practice, so start small and complete the training on Workfront One. Then, take action on the following two items to ensure your organization starts off on the right foot towards maximum effectiveness.
Getting started
We know there is a lot to learn, so if you haven't already dipped your toes into the possibilities that reports and dashboards offer within Adobe Workfront, look no further than the Basic Report Creation learning program on Workfront One. This self-paced training course is comprised of 9 different learning paths, each focused on a different aspect of reporting. Take your time and ask questions as you go—the Community is a dedicated space for peer-to-peer conversations!

I've taken the training—now what?
If you've already completed the training, even better - the learning program is just the beginning of your journey. The two recommended action items below detail the steps you should take to ensure reports and dashboards provide accessibility, accountability and accurate analytics within your organization.
ACTION 1: Ensure ALL data is in Adobe Workfront to deliver accurate analytics
Workfront needs to be the single source of truth for all your data. If you have data stored in multiple applications or spreadsheets outside of Workfront, start by doing an audit to see where duplicate efforts can be reduced. Then, come up with a reasonable plan to slowly start migrating this data into Workfront with the help of your Account Executive and Professional Services, as the goal is to seamlessly connect all work for improved focus and efficiency.
- Funnel data into Workfront using built-in integrations or Fusion ($) to avoid manual re-entry or duplicate work. Learn how by completing the Workfront Fusion and Integrations learning programs on Workfront One.
- Strategically build custom forms so that specific fields or KPIs can be tracked and reported on. Attach those custom forms to relevant objects in Workfront so that you can start pulling those data points into custom reports or views.
ACTION 2: Drive productivity with improved visibility
Surface 20/20 vision for team members by setting up a dashboard that pulls in past due, upcoming and completed work. Follow step-by-step report creation instructions in the blog, Manage Your Team’s Work Using Dashboards to build out a sample team dashboard to start using today!
Don’t stop there!
Pin the dashboard to users' layout template or set it as the default landing page so it’s the first thing they see when logging in.
