How to force a publishing job to cancel in AEM Guides

We've found that sometimes the generation jobs for AEM Sites in Guides will get stuck (we are guessing due to some parsing error when it is generating pages), so eventually you need to cancel the job. However when you cancel the job, it stays in "Cancelling" mode and never actually cancels. You can see them on the Publishing Dashboard as well and again, you can't get rid of them, no matter how many times you click the "X" icon. This also starts to cause problems generating new jobs as they just sit in "Waiting" status and won't generate pages.

Can you confirm the Guides version you are using and also, please share a sample content that can be used to reproduce this issue.

Hi there, we are on 2022.8.167 of the AEM Guides product. I don't have an easy way to share out the content as it is a whole set of topics and maps.

Could you please check if you are able to use the package manager console to package the content. 

or please share the error screenshots and error logs to the above email ID to investigate this issue further.
