Error with FrameMaker to DITA conversion

After following the instructions in the configuration guide, when I try to generate DITA from my FrameMaker files, I get the following error. I don't have any spaces or special characters in any names. What could be causing it?

    It seems your connection with FrameMaker Publishing Server isn't successful.
    You can check that in configManager (system/console/configMgr/com.adobe.fmdita.config.ConfigManager).
