This capability isn't there currently. Can you please share what you plan to achieve? We will see if we can suggest anything else.

Hey Vivek thanks for your reply.

 

Sure, our idea is the following:

 

We have an output preset that generates a Markdown file, after that runs a workflow where the author can decide on some details using a custom workflow dialog. (This will send the generated MD file to a custom destination)

During this workflow we have the requirement to add (if the author chooses to) an another document (e.g disclaimer text, translatable, versioned, etc). 

 

Currently our implementation is using a workflow step to generate a Markdown from the associated map (disclaimer.ditamap), however this is creating the overhead for the author to create a ditamap and a ditatopic just for one disclaimer text (although it can be translated, versioned, etc).

 

I hope you got my point.
