text options (bold, italics) in forms

Hi

Is there a way to define certain text with bold or italics in LiveCycle forms?  When the end users fill out the  forms created with LiveCycle, it will not allow them to bold or italicize text.  Can this be done with LiveCycle?  I know you can do this with Adobe forms. Thanks

In Designer place a Text Field and turn on the Field Format "Rich Text"

When in Acrobat/Reader you can change the formatting byright-click in the text field and Text Style:

Set the fields to allow RichTexts and select a font, that supports italic and bold styles, since not every font does it!

The users can open the form field properties dialog in Adobe Acrobat/Reader by pressing [Ctrl]+[E] to select a different style, size or color.

Hi there,

Be aware that using this functionality may have an effect on copy pasting into the field.

The result format may differ with the source formatting from the paste function.
