CRX Package Share Missing

Hi Team,

I have an issue with my AEM package environment. My AEM version is 6.5.5.0. I cannot find crx Package Share Icon on the top of the CRX package manager.

Oh that's weird. I have 6.5.0 . I can see the package share. I will setup 6.5.5 in local and check this. Get back to you soon.

Thank you but yes my previous version is 6.5.0 and after upgraded to 6.5.5 i experience the issue

Yes, so this is not an issue, but it has been now removed from the latest SP5 package due to security issues

Hi @cansoma 

As of service Pack 5, the Package Share will now be disabled.

The "Package Share integration with Adobe Experience Manager" is removed from AEM 6.5.5. The same is mentioned in the release notes of AEM 6.5 Service pack 5.

As per an internal JIRA GRANITE-29559, it has been decided to remove Package Share integration from AEM due to some security issues. Package Share Icon is removed from the following in latest AEM 6.5.5 patch, and so the reported behavior is expected :

1. com.adobe.granite.crxde-lite
2. com.adobe.granite.crx-explorer
3. com.adobe.granite.platform.welcome
4. ui-touch-optimized
5. ui-classic
6. ui-classic-welcome
7. com.adobe.granite.crx-packagemgr
