Require upgrade verification for AEM Designer

Greetings!

I have a need to get some solid documentation on an upgrade path for AEM Designer.

I have heard that IF you have an installation of AEM Designer before 6.5.15 and want to upgrade to 6.5.18 you have to do the following:

  1. Uninstall the current version.
  2. Install 6.5.15 AEM Designer.
  3. Apply the 6.5.18 AEM Designer upgrade.

Can anyone confirm this procedure?
