Hi All

I would like to know if anyone was able to setup the user account password complexity requirements when user set up their account in AEM Forms Document security.  Can't seem to find any documentations on how to set this up as it is a requirement to get a Authority to Operate (ATO) for my application.

Hi @martinblondin,

It is possible to set up user account password complexity requirements in AEM Forms Document Security. This is configured via the User Management module in AEM Forms. Below is a high-level overview of the steps to set this up:

  1. Log in to the AEM Forms Administration Console using an administrator account.

  2. Navigate to User Management and select Policies.

  3. Configure the Password Policy by defining:

    • Minimum and maximum password length.
    • Requirements for uppercase, lowercase, numeric, and special characters.
    • Restrictions on repeated characters or sequences.
    • Password history to prevent reuse of previous passwords.
    • Password expiration intervals (optional, based on your ATO requirements).
  4. Save the policy and assign it to the appropriate user groups or accounts.

  5. Test the configuration by attempting to create accounts or change passwords that violate the policy, ensuring proper enforcement.

If you encounter issues or need further guidance, feel free to reach out.

Hi

This is not an option that I have in my environment for some reason to create a password policy
