Has anyone else experienced problems opening AEM forms in Adobe Standard?

We have received some complaints that end users with Adobe Standard are unable to open forms. The forms are extended for Reader and open just fine in Acrobat Pro and Reader.

What is the error msg/pop-up that you're getting?

I assume you meant Acrobat Standard DC(?).

The customer is reporting that:

"My Adobe Standard (not Adobe Reader) will not open your 2024 updated pdf. documents that can be retrieved online... Whenever I try to open these document Adobe gives me the Error Message, “There was an error opening this document. Acrobat cannot decrypt this document.”"

@cøk Can you please share the document that you are trying to open.Also please share details , how its created.

If you have a template file and data file which were used to merge and create the PDF, please share that as well.

Hi there - we have not received any follow-up complaints, so this may be user error of some kind 🙂 I am much more concerned with the possibility that we are unable to comply w the US DOJ rule requiring WCAG 2.1 AA compliance because of the problems w links in AEM Designer/Acrobat.
