Connect Adaptive Forms to OneDrive using Certificate

Can I use a certificate as the form of authentication, instead of a secret key, to make the connection between Adaptive Forms and OneDrive?

So far, the only documentation I can find demonstrates the use of a secret key as the form of authentication:

"Submit an Adaptive Form to Microsoft® OneDrive": https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/forms/adaptive-f...

Using a secret key is a weak form of authentication and is not allowed in my organization.

Can a certificate be used? If yes, how?

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Hi,

Can you please confirm the platform you are using AEM Cloud or 6.x?

I am on AEM Cloud.

After consulting with Adobe support, I learned that Adobe does not have a method in place for Adobe Form data to be written to OneDrive using a certificate as the method for authentication. The only available method is using client secret.

Adobe has a feature pack request (FPR) to support certificate as the form of authentication, instead of a secret key, to make the connection between Adaptive Forms and OneDrive on AEM Forms as a Cloud Service. Currently it's not supported OOTB.
