Video protocol - on-demand from Assets to AEM

Avatar

Level 1

We use .mp4 files for on-demand streaming of courseware. The mp4 files are stored in Assets and viewed in AEM. The courseware is integrated with Adobe Learning Manager.

What video protocol is used to stream on-demand video to our users?

I'm hoping the "answer" is one of these:
Apple HLS, MPEG-DASH, Microsoft Smooth, Adobe HDS

Thanks in advance.

@billwhite my guess would be Adobe HDS, however it would be best to open a support ticket with AEM team- they should internally work with LMS team to find the exact answer we are looking for. Got to https://adminconsole.adobe.com More>Support

Additionally, I found a deep dive session on youtube, which might help a bit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TnjutnLyxOg
