Smart Crop Image Stuck in Processing State Despite Workflow Completion

I am facing an issue with Smart Crop in AEM 6.5. When I upload an image, the image remains in the "processing" state and does not complete. However, when I check the workflow status, it indicates that the workflow has finished successfully. Anyone faced this issue? I checked for permissions with admin and everything is fine there.

Hi,

Yes, a specific process step is required to change the card's status(DAM Update Asset Workflow Completed step). It's likely that your workflow didn't reach that step. I recommend reviewing the workflow execution and ensuring that the step is included and properly executing on the asset. You can refer to this for guidance:

Hope this helps

I see that post processing workflows is for cloud but I am using AEM on premise. We have DAM update Asset workflow and when I check it's instance, it says workflow is completed. I have created a folder in DAM where I am applying smart crop with required aspect ratio. Is there any requirement to create a custom workflow besides update DAM update asset workflow?

@zeeltr1

Sometimes it might be due to js errors. Can you check that once in the developer console.
