Learning AEM - CMS / DAM

Avatar

Level 1

Hi All, I have gone through the tutorials etc, including udemy courses but how can I learn without seeing or "experiencing " the software. A potential employer would at least expect me to have tried the platform before they give me a job. This I think is perfectly fair - you wouldn't give a formula 1 car to a guy with the manual in his hands. How do I learn / access a trial etc when the Adobe chat bot and Contact Form just close me out as I am not a million dollar corporate?

Thanks !

Dave

@davem26497701 Unlike Adobe Creative Cloud Applications- which can be subscribed by Individuals/creatives, Adobe Marketing Cloud applications are meant for Enterprise Wide needs.

They aren't sold/distributed to individuals, hence it's difficult to get hands-on on the tool if your organization isn't using it as a primary CMS.

I hear you and have been there. I would suggest you go through the available videos/tutorials on different platforms starting from Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zA53zv0l-9I&list=PL2rn7ZBYpBjtPyy5-pEBxwwIowcIoVv40

This community also have multiple learning options: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/?lang=en#learn

Adobe documentation also will help, specially the ones with screenshots and clear instructions: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65.html?lang=en

You can choose the learning experience as per the job role you desire, e.g. Developer, Admin, Business Practitioner etc.

Hope this helps a bit.
