Is AEM able to manage text/data "assets" that it can then push out to sites, emails, Creative Cloud text boxes, etc.

We have legal and privacy copy that is required on all of our websites and apps. We are currently managing these with a website dedicated to legal that the rest of our sites and apps pull from. This workflow works great for our sites and apps but does not currently help our print and email workflows. Those workflows are still quite manual and I'm hoping to automate them to minimize the risk of human error. I'm investigating whether or not I can handle this process using the DAM so that it can serve as a source of truth for this data and then push it out not only to the sites and apps but also to emails and Creative Cloud apps through integrations. Does anyone know if AEM can manage text/data files in this manner? I'm not looking to save these as Word docs in the system. I'm looking to store them as text that can be searched for and linked to from these various platforms.Heres what a specific use case would look like:

Privacy specialist crafts the privacy boilerplate for use on all marketing materials. Data is entered into the DAM as a data/text file. Appropriate metadata is attached to the asset so it is searchable in the DAM. A designer ios working on a Website, email and brochure for an upcoming campaign. She creates a site template in Sites. There is a text box at the bottom that she is able to like to the data/text asset in the DAM. She is using Marketing Cloud for her email creation. She is able to create an email template for the campaign in there and link the text box in there to the same data/text asset in the DAM. She also creates the brochure using InDesign. She creates a text box and using Asset Link is able to link to the same copy/data asset in the DAM for that privacy statement.

The privacy specialist realizes that a change needs to be made to the boilerplate info so he updates the asset in the DAM and once its saved it is automatically pushed to all of the materials the designer linked to.

Does a capability like that exist in AEM? If so I'd love to see some information on it.

Hi @dmescia2

Thanks for the detailed requirements. I feel Content Fragments in AEM Assets should cover most of your needs. Have you already explored it and found some shortcomings ?

Hope this helps!

Thanks
