How are synced IMS groups with AEM updated when they are renamed on the IMS side?

Hi!

 

I have created a User Group on IMS (on the Admin Console) and synced it with AEM (by adding myself as a user and then logging in AEM). It works well.

 

Then, I had to rename the group (on IMS / Admin Console) and I don't understand how/when it is updated on AEM.

I noticed that the new name is not immediately updated on AEM. After some operations (adding a new user and let him logging in), I saw that a new group with the new name is created. But it doesn't seem to work always like that.

 

How can I sync the new User Group's name properly with AEM?

Hi @JeremyMo2 

 

It takes some time for the users and groups to sync from the admin console to AEM. Currently, we manage the AEM access through Active Directory groups, and we use Adobe user sync utility, which runs every 4 hours and syncs the users.

Please wait about 10-15 minutes for the sync to complete and ensure that the user added to the IMS user group has logged into their product profile before conducting an end-to-end test.
