Enable Dynamic Media - is the runmode "dynamicmedia" mandatory ?

Hi Guys,

I would like to set up Dynamic media on Media on my local system (AEM 63).

I am following the below online documentation.

Configuring Dynamic Media

However in this document it says in order to enable Dynamic media  we need to run the server on the "dynamicmedia" runmode .

Can some one confirm if this is mandatory ?

We don't intend to re-install our servers to enable this feature .

Hi Harish,

Yes it is mandatory to start quickstart in run mode "dynamicmedia".(flag feature was removed 6.2 onwards)

but you don't need to re-install it just stop the quickstart and run it again with same crx-quickstrat folder with additional run mode.
