After AEM upgrade to 6.5, we are seeing new metadata property dam:scene7publishpending getting added to all assets and versions when assets are created. How do we turn off this property as this is not needed by business. Is this added by any specific workflow in 6.5, confirm.
Please suggest.

Hi,
Just delete the dynamic media cofiguration added in the environment, and this property is added due to configuration of Dynamic Media configuration Dynamic media sync mode Disabled by default
If its not needed then just delete the configiration in cloud services --> Dynamic Media Configuration
@mdxcp is there an integration with Dynamic Media with your AEM Instance? You can check this by navigating to Tools> Cloud Services> Dynamic Media Configuration. Usually this property is added with the integration and it depicts the asset publish status in Scene7/Dynamic Media.
Hope this helps.

Hi @mdxcp
Welcome to AEM Community !!
From which version of AEM , you have upgraded to AEM 6.5?
Did you use any run mode on your previous version of AEM, that has "dynamicmedia"?
Are you using any run mode on your AEM 6.5, that has "dynamicmedia"?
Are these asset migrated from a different AEM instance?
Thanks,
