Hi Team,

Use of coral3 is must in latest version of AEM (6.5 or AEM as CS) ?. Want to use collapsible feature which coral2 layout provides - with layout type - /libs/granite/ui/components/foundation/layouts/collapsible.

I dont see same exists for coral3. Can you help me out on this collapsible/expand feature on coral3 multifield ?

Hi @pradeepmoolemane,

According to official Adobe documentation it looks that Coral 2 /libs/granite/ui/components/foundation/layouts/collapsible has been replaced by /libs/granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/accordion from Coral 3.

Alternatively if accordion will not work, you can consider one of below alternative option:

  1. Use /libs/granite/ui/components/foundation/layouts/collapsible - I know this is deprecated but as long it is available I think it could be take into account in case accordion from Coral 3 will not do the work.
  2. Create some customization, here is a nice example - it has been build on 6.4, but I think it will work on AEM 6.5 or AEM as a Cloud Services as well - http://experience-aem.blogspot.com/2018/04/aem-64-touch-ui-expandable-collapsible-composite-multifield.html

Last but not least you can always raise an Idea via this community. Adobe employees are quite responsive and there are multiple examples of Ideas that has been implemented by Adobe and incorporated in final product.

Hi @pradeepmoolemane, unfortunately I do not have this kind of information. You will need to reach out someone from Adobe, this is why I've suggested to raise an Idea. You can also ask directly Adobe consultant that is assigned to your company, raise support ticket or contact CSE (Customer Success Engineer) in case you are using AEM as a Cloud Service or AEM 6.5 on AMS.
