Can the brand portal have sub-assets viewable?

I have several docx and pptx documents in the DAM.  Each have sub-assets viewable in DAM.  When published to brand portal, only the first page of the document is viewable.  Is there a way to view the sub-assets prior to downloading the full document?

There is no option to view subassets in brandportal.

You can download the asset and then open it locally to view the subassets.
