Bulk Image File Extension Updates

Hello experts,

 

We are looking to replace all jpg on our site to WebP to improve page load time. We do not have SmartImaging module, so would like to know if there's any quick and easy way for us to bulk replace the files (keeping the same file name, but different file extension) with out having to unlink & relink all files?

Adobe provides ACS Common utilities for bulk asset operations, called MCP tools.

You can try the renovator tool as described here: https://adobe-consulting-services.github.io/acs-aem-commons/features/mcp-tools/renovator/index.html

    @diksha_mishra thanks so much! Is the renovator tool an out-of-the box functionality? We have the basic package only - hope we don't have to get add-on/ upgrade to use this feature? Thanks again!
