Yes!
You can change the default schema, which in turn will affect the metadata shown in collections and searches (in case you select multiple files from different folders.).

    AEM doesn't provide a direct mechanism to achieve this.

    Reasons for the Limitation:

    • The default collection schema is likely a system-defined schema, preventing direct modification.
    • Altering the default schema could have unintended consequences on existing collections and system behavior.

    While you can't directly change the default collection schema, you can influence the metadata associated with collections and their assets through custom implementations.
