Hi @manu_mathew_ ,

I couldn't find any public documentation on using metadata-driven permissions in the Assets view.
However, you could try applying permissions in the Admin view based on metadata and check if they reflect in the Assets view.
If this approach doesn’t work, I recommend raising a support ticket to inquire whether this functionality is officially supported in the Assets view.

Hello @manu_mathew_ ,

It is not possible to apply ACLs to individual metadata properties. While you can customize the metadata schema view, any changes made will affect the overall asset view across all folders and potentially impact other users as well, making this approach not generally recommended.

@narendiran_ravi

Yes we had tried doing it on the Admin view and had raised a support ticket,

seems its not officially supported in the Assets view and there is no exact public documentation yet. This could be a feature enhancement in future.

The permissions could be applied to folders only as the metadata properties are not nodes, and ACLs are generally applied to nodes.

You could try Metadata driven permission https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-learn/assets/advanced/metadata-driven-permissions
but again, this can only be configured on Admin View as of now.
