Adobe Assets Fails Rendering PSD While Attempting to Extract Assets

If I load a PSD into Adobe Assets and attempt to manipulate the displayed layers, Adobe Assets fails to render the PSD entirely. Anybody have any solutions how this can be fixed?

This does not seems to be related to AEM Assets as there is no such panel OOTB in AEM.

This does not seems to be related to AEM Assets as there is no such panel OOTB in AEM.

This can not be done through AEM OOTB. Have seen any reference material stating this capability with AEM?
