Updating a custom resource

Dear ACS Experts,

We are working on a business case. It is kind of distributed marketing where a central head body designs and defines a campaign and sends out communication to local agencies for enrollment. If local agencies opts-out of the campaign, the email communication won't be sent out to the customer of those agencies.

We have created a custom resource to capture the consent of agencies whether they want to be enrolled or opt-out(if agencies does not opt-out in an stipulated time-frame, they'll be automatically enrolled in).

Can someone please guide me the most viable and efficient way to capture the agencies consent in the custom resource? I tried with acquisition landing page, but custom resource attributes are not present in the fields to update.

Hi @navink7 We had a similar use case. As the landing page data needs to be linked to the profile table only, we had to create the agencies in this table. we extend the Profile table with additional fields for filtering them out / differentiating them from the actual customers. All the data related to the agencies are however stored in a custom resource linked to the Profile.

@navink7 You have a few options to get the consent data updated in ACS.

Thanks, Sathees

Hi @SatheeskannaK

Thank you for the reply.

I missed an important part in the question itself.

What should be the approach if consent form is built as a landing page?

Can be explore the Services subscription option and collect the consent through email?

Thanks,

Navin
