Update Profile Resource Field / Authorized Values

Hi,

Do I have to worry about loss of data when updating the 'List of Authorized Values' in a field in the Profile resource? I just need to add one more authorized value to the list of authorized values. We have millions of rows in it, and I'm a bit nervous doing any updates to this resource, and wanted to make sure I don't negatively impact this resource in any way whilst updating.

Hi Johnny,

If you're just adding one additional authorised value to the field then you won't need to worry about loss of data, although if you have access to a dev/stage environment I would still implement the change there first.
