SFTP folders login

Hi Everyone,

I have a query regarding SFTP. We want to create 2-3 folder on the SFTP location and give the access to different service providers. It would be great to have information on any/all of the below mentioned questions

1. Will there be any extra costing if those 2-3 folder are provided to different service providers?

2. Is it possible to have different login credentials for each folder so that one service provider can only access one specific folder?

3. Will the service provider have access to that specific folder or the parent folder also?

Please find answer to your queries

1. Will there be any extra costing if those 2-3 folder are provided to different service providers?

There is no cost for it. You can reach out to support for getting account aliases to be created. We do not give more than one login operator. Its the same operator but various aliases of it.

2. Is it possible to have different login credentials for each folder so that one service provider can only access one specific folder?

We only provide aliases which can control the landing folder for a user but the kind of security you want will not be possible. Please do reach out to support to get the aliases created

3. Will the service provider have access to that specific folder or the parent folder also?

They will have access to parent folder.

You can also talk to your CSM for checking if the contract can be amended and you are provided with multiple sFTPs or multiple users with different access.
