Personalized content fallback (Campaign Standard)

Hi,

I want the same answer to this question posted here https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2334205

Except the ansewr to be for Standard, not Classic.

Any ideas on this one? Can't seem to find any official documentation on what happens if the CRM field is missing (see Adobe Campaign Help | Inserting a personalization field )

Thanks in advance

Hi,

answer for Campaign Standard would be same as the 1st answer for Classic:

  • In the Query activity or an additional Enrichment activity calculate the value you want to have, same formula should be fine in Campaign Standard as well
  • Within the Editor, choose
    • Insert Personalization Field
    • It should show in the tree:  Additional Data (Target Data)
    • Below should be the name of the calculated field

The calculation directly within the Editor is not working in Campaign Standard
