How do you see the heat map or hot clicks for trigger campaigns? I can only see it for adhoc campaigns that have been sent.

@annalieseev I haven't seen heat map/hot clicks for trigger campaigns. Usually, trigger campaigns are sent when a certain event happens like reactivation, transactional events, onboarding, etc that doesn't require heat map/hot clicks.

A triggered campaign in ACS (e.g., transactional email, abandoned cart, password reset) runs continuously rather than having a defined send date and batch audience. Since it’s one delivery template being reused over and over for individual recipients, there’s no single batch to aggregate click/open positions into.

Heatmap reports in ACS rely on aggregated data from a fixed audience snapshot — which doesn’t exist for triggers. Also, the hot clicks map requires ACS to store every individual click position in the email.

For high-volume transactional campaigns, this could mean millions of individual click records, which would severely impact system performance and reporting speed.

Hi, can I ride on this to ask if it matters if a single use email or a recurring email is used? We have always been using recurring email even fora blast and send campaign. Will we be able to still se the heat map?
