Deliverability errors

Avatar

Level 3

Hi there,

Is there any Adobe Campaign documentation at all where I can find a list of deliverability errors just as, what it means:

- 491 Proxy connection to MX #IP# failed.

- No mx records have been found! Domain: '#DOMAIN#'; Type:28; Time used:97 ms

- DNS query failed for '#DOMAIN'#

Any help, is much appreciate it.

Thanks,

C

Hi ,

You can look into this document and see if it helps.

https://docs.campaign.adobe.com/doc/AC6.1/en/Technotes/AdobeCampaign_Deliverability_Mx_Inbounce.pdf

I would also decode the messages just in case :

the error messages DNS query failed for '#DOMAIN'# means the delivery was sent to an incorrect domain.

No mx records have been found - means for the receiving domain there are no MX rules defined in the campaign instance

491 Proxy connection to MX #IP# failed - The connection from Campaign MTA failed to establish a smtp session with the receiving domain.
