Upgrade to 9346 issues and Resolution:-
Issue:
Unable to send emails post 9346 Mid upgrade.
Root Cause:
There is little known bug in the upgrade script that deletes the DmRendering_cuid value during the upgrade.
The CCUID is the unique identifier for the instance. That config is used in the IP binding configuration names in Momentum, so it has to be correct on the instance or Momentum won’t know which IP group to use for a given message
This is issue was not caught immediately after the upgrade because it is a new issue that was identified recently when upgrading other customers as well.
This was addressed when we rolled back the upgrade because the value was added back with the backup that was taken before the upgrade.
We did not experience this issue when we upgraded Stage because the instance does not run on Momentum.
Fix:
Before the upgrade, Adobe will copy the value of the DmRendering_cuid and add it back to the instance post-upgrade.
