Target audience based on different ages groups and other criteria

Hi,

We want to send 2 different surveys to 2 identical groups.

Each one should consist of 3 different age groups - each age group should be 1/3 of the total age groups.

Also, each group should consist of 3 service cabins: economy (60% of the records), premium (20% of the total records) and business (20% of the total records).

Is that something I can create in adobe campaign? do I need to use the split option and define the conditions of the sampling?

Hi @MariBa,

Yes, you can definitely set this up in Adobe Campaign. The easiest way is to use the Split activity in your workflow. With it, you can break down your audience into the groups you want.

First, split your population into the two main groups (for the two different surveys).

Inside each group, you can then add more splits to divide by age ranges (so each age group gets about 1/3 of the records).

Then, within each of those, you can use another split or the sampling option to apply the service cabin percentages (Economy 60%, Premium 20%, Business 20%).

This way, you’re layering your splits:

1. Survey group →

2. Age group →

3. Cabin type.

It might look like a few splits nested one after another, but it will get you exactly the distribution you need.

Hope this helps!

Thanks,
