Hello,

Any idea what could be causing this problem? I think it may be related to the version the user uses, but I would like to know where to keep reading about this error (And what may be causing it). I haven't find much information online

Any idea?

Thank you in advance!

Hi @CampaignerForLife ,

I recently implemented IMS authentication for the Real-Time Transaction Server API.

It was quite challenging for us too—it didn’t work the first time either. I’m not sure where your Adobe Campaign (AC) instance is hosted—on Adobe Managed Cloud or in a hybrid setup—but I can share what we discovered during our troubleshooting process.

After working with Adobe Support, they helped us identify a few key issues:

  1. Make sure your IMS connection is correctly configured in the External Account, with all parameters properly filled.

  2. Ensure that each user has the necessary permissions.

  3. If you’ve set up a Developer Project in Adobe Developer Console, verify that it’s associated with the correct Product Profile.

I would recommend reaching out to Adobe Support. As Campaign developers, we can only configure what’s within the Adobe Campaign UI. IMS-related configurations often require internal Adobe support, as they are set up at the organization level. It’s unlikely we, as Campaign developers, have access to those settings.

Hope this helps!

Kind regards,

Parvesh

Hello Parvesh,

I've an on premise server, and mid-sourcing and MC are hosted by Adobe.

The main problem is, this problem is only happening to one user, so I guess all the other things are correctly implemented but the user lacks permissions?

Thank you for your answer, i'll check all these things!
