How to make new RT Events show in template?

I have noticed that if you create a new RT Event in enumerations, its not available for selection in the RT templates until some time after. Its hard to know how long you have to wait until you can assign the new RT Event to your new template

e.g. I have created a third RT Event - oriRtEventTest, but it doesn't show in the template drop down

I can only assume there is a workflow that needs to run to pick new RT Events up as they eventually show up in the list.

Anyone know how to make new RT Events appear in the template drop down sooner?
