Does Adobe Campaign Classic Cloud Hosting by Adobe supports FDA?

We are looking at loading data into ACC from Dynamic 365 in the long term, which is scheduled go go-live in a year from now. As an interim solution, we wanted to load the data from a BI system into ACC and we wanted to use FDA connector to load the data.

I would like to understand if Adobe supports FDA in a fully cloud hosted model?

Hi,

I was wondering what are the reasons behind not supporting the fda option on managed service? This kinda forcing the customer to go for SFTP based solution and doesn't really look like an enterprise solution.

Regards,

Kiran

You could try to negotiate. Maybe they'll allow FDA over HTTP, in which you'll need an on-premise Campaign instance to proxy the db connection.

The external database needs to be exposed to the Campaign server. As a consequence, FDA is only available for deployments that are not fully hosted by Adobe. Basically it's for security reason.

Thanks David. I too thought so.

Thanks for your reply. This prolly won't work for us as the customer wants to go for cloud based deployment to reduce the overhead of on-prem instance's monitoring and support overhead.
