Deployment of Client Console for Windows - Silent Installation / MSI

Hi All,

 

Does anyone know of a way to install the client console for Adobe Campaign V8 on a windows device.

 

Ultimately, we would like to be able to deploy the application to selected users via SCCM or Microsoft Intune however there does not seem to be any documentation or indication this is possible.

You can use the new package file and it will overwrite the existing installation.

Hello @alexmc3  You can copy the contents of an existing installation, package it for an extraction and deploy silently.

    To Clarify, you are talking about doing a build a capture here for the application?

     

    How does this method work for performing the updates as new version of v8 are released?

    I still don't understand why this couldn't just be done with a silent installation or even via an MSI file to make deployment easier - I'll also provide this feedback via other channels.

     

    This process starts becoming more of a pain when trying to implement certain controls within the environment but hopefully in the future we might see something happen here - might have to hold my breath though as I've seen some fairly old posts from years ago around this item as well.
