After further investigation, it seems that the A/B testing component i'm talking about is a custom dev specific to my instance and not something supported by Adobe. That's why I didn't find anythink about it in the Adobe documentation 😉

Hi Khanerat,

When you say A/B component do you mean the Javascript activity? If so, the likely reason is to reduce the JS memory required to run the script.
