Marketing Channel for Mobile App

Hi,

 

I have created my Marketing Channel processing rules por Facebook and Google Ads, but I am not having results. Is there a documentation that helps set Marketing Channel for Mobile App? We have done the same things that we did for the configuration in our Web report suite, but it is not having the same results. Maybe there is something extra we have to do? I can't find the answer in any documentation.

 

Please help!

How have you configured your rules?

 

Part of the problem is that mobile apps don't have "referrer" data, so any rules that look at Referrers will automatically not match. I know, it's a bit silly to not have Referrers with Universal Linking and Deep Links so prevalent now... perhaps we can create an idea to start tracking this data in Mobile Apps.

 

The next thing to check is, are your mobile apps tracking your campaign variables? If your rules are looking for your campaigns, ensuring your apps are tracking these values is important.
