Hi,   We have an upcoming tradeshow. I have created a program in Marketo as an event with the aim being to upload all the leads we generate at the tradeshow as members into this program. They will then be entered into the generic lead nurturing. However, I would like to send out some pre-event marketing emails to 3 separate lists. 1) Leads which we captured from an event last year "come visit us again" 2) Purchased list of contacts acquired 3) Our customer base My question is this - should I have a separate program within the tradeshow folder for the pre-event email and the campaigns? I don't want the 3 lists of data outlined above to be in the event membership tab as they weren't neccessarily at the event. If I send each of the 3 data lists above a separate email with separate messaging... should each of the 3 emails to the 3 data lists be a separate program? Thank you, Jess

Hi,I don't understand why on some of my landing pages (not all) instead of having my Meta Tags description text showing up when we are sharing page, I have also the bottom text of my landing page (see screenshot below).Can somebody please explain what part of the .html I need to change? This is driving me crazy. We didn't have that in past. How to change physical position (not just css) of "view as webpage" email link, in order to place it after our pre-header text (as should be the case).

Looking to create a newsletter sign-up form on a landing page, as well as a triggered confirmation email. In addition we have those future newsletters emails - some known beforehand and some not.What kind of program type/channel is this? Do I create a new channel "Newsletter" under default (i.e. default/newsletter) or do i use the existing email/email send. (other options are engagement/nurture or default/content. I took the course; however, i havent came across a definitive guide to channel meanings).Thanks ~

Is there a way to add the inferred city or inferred state to an Anonymous Traffic report? It doesn't seem to work when I try. 

Has anyone else had trouble activating the Visits Web Page trigger when using UTM codes?I'm running an ad campaign that sends people to a landing page in one of our Content programs.  When someone from this ad campaign visits the page, I want to chance their membership status in the ad campaign Program (ie: a different Program than where the landing page lies).When I look at my Activity in Marketo, the webpage I visited shows, but the trigger doesn't shoot when the URL includes the UTM campaign.Any ideas?Thanks!

I'm setting up some interesting moments as well as program status changes based on viewing web pages on our website.When I add the campaign and trigger to say webpage IS and put the url I get the red squiggle underline saying the entry isn't valid. If I put contains then it seems to work however it doesn't appear when we test that the trigger works.Is "contains" a valid handler for the URL?

I imported some data, however, I know need to remove some old records. How can I run a report to create a list of leads with no email address?And how to I bulk delete these? Thanks, 

We would like to st up a lead score trigger for to assist our sales team for followup.In the trigger we have used Score name is Lead Score > and Change is+5We are not exactly sure what +5 means?When a lead score increases in a block of 5 then trigger? (eg, one event that increases a score by 5 or more)Or is it an incremental increase and when that reaches 5 it will trigger (eg, browse web page =1 and the lead browses five of our pages)Thanks, John

I've seen this working before. Right now we are implementing Marketo and have a "change data value" on our forms to update the lead source. In Marketo we've added unique identifiers in the lead source but in testing the lead sources we defined in Marketo aren't coming through in SFDC. It's populating with one of the picklist values instead.Any ideas on why that might be happening.Cheers,Richard

I have a drip campaign set up that consists of 4 operational emails. We made them operationail because we want it to look like they are coming directly from the salespersons email.We have been doing this in SFDC, but the process is very manual- the sales people have been hitting send on the email every few days. Marketo just makes the process 10 times easier.All of the emails I have set up are basic text emails, however, when I send a test of the email, there is an error message that says pictures are not being shown- while there are no pictures in the emails.I wanted to see if there was something in the code that I can change to make sure that email clients do not see the pictures- I just want the email to be standard text.Any suggestions you can provide will be super helpful! Hi,We are having an issue with the .ics file crashing Outllok when opened.The process works perfectly however when opened in the actual calendar it crashes Outlook.I am using Outlook 2013 Windows 8, not sure if anyone else has experienced this?Thanks.Mark Conory

We are currently setting up integration between Marketo and NetSuite. Have just been told that Marketo doesn't handle the flow of one to many sets of data in the database (for example - I have a contact who has taken multiple training courses. It seems that Marketo will only provide me with the most recent training course that contact has taken, rather than all of the courses).  If I want to target messages based on training courses taken - would I be best off running a query in NetSuite and building a smartlist in Marketo each time I want to send a targeted mail? If this isn't the best way to handle this scenario - any recommendations on how we should approach it?

Hi all,Marketo now has a great way to A/B test emails, with Email Programs.  Does anyone know if there is a way to put an Email Program in an Engagement Program stream, so that two emails in the stream can be A/B tested?CheersDavid

If a throttled campaign has begun that sends an email to a list every hour, and the smartlist was updated will the campaign have to fully run its course or will it go to effect in the next hour's send?Thanks,

I run numerous campaigns that contain YouTube link and currently I am unable to track the amount of clicks the link gets.I understand we are not able to track youtube links because they are external but does anyone have any custom code they could share that can be added to a Landing page that will allow us to track the clicks.Also does anyone have any suggestions on how we can track YouTube links in emails.Look forward to your feedback.Thanks

how to have a hangout with someone from support 

We've got a web-based application that we'd like to integrate with Marketo.  This would have to be done serverside as that is the way the app is coded.  What I'd like to be able to do is this: once the app has completed the sign-up process, then submit the information to Marketo in the background (probably via a form submit).Obviously this is a good case for the SOAP API, but I don't have an experienced developer or the time to get it done - is there anyway to do this by setting up a landing page that the app can call, pass the parameters and have them submitted to Marketo?Any thoughts appreciated!Damian

I am about to start my first trigger campaign, which should start having lead scores increase. When our sales guy called on leads that reach their threshold, and he determines they are not yet ready, how can he reset their lead score to zero from Salesforce, and have that information sync back to Marketo, resetting their score in Marketo as wel?
