Hi, Can I programtically build dispatcher cache without hitting out the browser ? I know I can invalidate the cache programatically by sending an http request. How about building the dispatcher cache for my required folder and subfolders without sending requests via browser ? i am using AEM 5.6.1 and Apache 2.2 ThanksSanjoy

Hi,I have done this tutorial: http://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/using/persisting-cq-data-java-content1.html and it works fine.If I open a page (with the created template), the form is shown and works fine - but sitekick is not shown.My next step would be to show the sitekick and to add components to this page.Is there a tutorial how to do it, I have tried to understand this one, but I couldn't do it http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/cq/current/developing/components.html#Extending%20the%20Text%20and%20Image%20Component%20-%20An%20ExampleI have attached an image of my project structure.I would be great if someone could help me - Thanks a lot!!Max

We're moving our CQ 5.5 sites to new servers, so I restored a backup on a new node just fine, but am having some trouble with the login procedure.It seems that the login works fine, but the user then gets redirected to CRX (with some broken images) instead of CQ.http://10.120.17.79:4502/welcome goes to http://10.120.17.79:4502/libs/crx/core/content/welcome.htmlIt should go to http://10.120.17.79:4502/libs/cq/core/content/welcome.htmlI've attached screen shots of the broken CRX screen we get to as well as the correct CQ page that we get to if I manually enter the URL.

Hi all, Use case is:We have global header and footer <div>s which we want to expose in form of JSON so that non AEM sites can read this JSON and render header and footer.I will store the content for header / footer using CQ component. So for doing this I am thinking of somehow getting the output (<div>s) of a component into a string instead of rendering the output on page. Once we have this string we will expose same in form of JSON. Hi,We are using sling form authentication over ldap to authenticate users on the publisher instance directly. When we do load test at random some users fail to login and hence they have to again put their credentials and login. The ldap module at random is ignoring some user credentials. Hi, I have created project strcuture as belowapps-->site-services-->faq-->components, templates etc...etc-->designs-->site-services-->faq.Added couple of the components to template parsys in design mode. As per my understanding, design changes should be stored under etc/designs/site-services/faq/.content.xml... But somehow i dont see the design level changes in etc/designs? Appreciated for a quick response

I have performed everything that has been discussed in url "http://docs.adobe.com/content/docs/en/cq/current/getting_started/first_steps_for_developers.html" but i am not seeing the "left" "right" option in the Tab 3 (i.e. in Advance Image Properties tab) under "Image Position" drop down box.For node position/options/o1 i set the properties as : text to Left and value to left ; its type is nt:unstructuredFor node position/options/o2 i set the properties as : text to Right and value to right ; its type is nt:unstructured             Let me know what could have went wrong here. Hi,I am doing some load tests and i see the below error quite frequently and not sure how i can resolve it. My Sample code is fairly written. I am also using synchronized method just to make sure that no other thread is modifying the group. I am trying to add members to group and i have checked the reference of the method and none of the classes are calling the addMemberToGroup method apart from the one that i am invoking.Here is the method. Hi, I have disabled content finder for pages in edit mode by adding below property to page componentcq:defaultView="html (http://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/kb/DisableContentFinder.html)With above property addition, i see the page is losing edit capabilities as well. Even side kick is not appearing. As per my requirement i dont want to drop anything from content finder, but still page should be editabled. So i want content finder to be disabled along with page edit capabilities should be working.Appreciated for any help on above requirement

HiI just completed the setup of Dispatcher in Ubuntu 14. After changes apache service started successfully and also i can see the welcome page when i hit http://localhost/ . dispatcher.log has been created as per the path provided. docroot for the cache also got created after server restarted. But I am not able to see the request to pass through dispatcher. like when i hit URL as http://localhost:8588/content/aemproject/Test1.html it show my page but when i hit dispatcher http://localhost/content/aemproject/Test1.html It throw an error like The requested URL /content/aemproject/Test1.html was not found on this server.Attached are my cofiguration file, Any idea what can be the issue.Thanks

Hi All,I'm facing an Authentication issue in my web app (AEM6, authentication via form login). I implemented an AuthenticationHandler that is involved for a specific path (/content/it).It works well and it is invoked also for the login page url (/content/it/login.html).  Following the Sling documentation (http://sling.apache.org/documentation/the-sling-engine/authentication/authentication-framework.html) I tried to exclude this path, register it inside the AuthenticationHandler using service registration property sling.auth.requirements.I understood this is the configuration to ensure the login form can be rendered without requiring authentication.Now login page path appears in 'Adobe Experience Manager Web Console' (/system/console/slingauth) as a path for which Authentication is NO Required correctly.Unfortunately, the method extractCredentials of my AuthenticationHandler continue to be invoked. Is this correct? Or in other words what did I fail or what I did misunderstand?Thanks in
