We're on 6.1 with all current hotfixes (except SP1) and feature packs.When I follow the tutorial to extend the comments / comment components, the resourceType that is created is of the original component, not the new one.My understanding is that if you registerComponent of your new component as both the model and the view this would correctly set the POSTed resourceType, but this is obviously wrong.What am I missing? What do I need to do?

Hi everyone,When there is only 1 choice added to the Change Program Status flow step, how will it effect the program status of a lead differently than just using the default choice? I was thinking that having the choice 1 allows the lead's program status to remain unchanged if the lead had unsubscribed/ email invalid/ had deliverability issues and that simply using the default choice would force the lead's program status to change regardless of other circumstances. Can somebody help clarify?Thanks, Tom

Hi there,I know this seems to be a relatively basic question and I *thought* I knew the answer but I seem to be having some trouble with it. As I understood it, to change the 'submit/download/etc.'button on a form, you took the following steps: - Click "Edit form"- Click "Form settings"- Click the cog in the right hand corner and "View Theme CSS"- Copy the CSS code, edit as necessary, then paste into "Edit custom CSS"However, within the Theme CSS, I can't identify any element that would allow me to edit the colour of a button. I have been advised that the element I need to look for is called ''.mktoMinimal.mktoButton'' - but I can't see this anywhere. Could anybody please advise?  Thanks,Jade

I have been seeing the issue of auto termination (aborted) of running workflows  up on activation.  I was not able to find out the way to disable this feature . Can anyone help on this ?  Here are the steps.1. Page is part of payload and it is in running workflow,  Same thing is shown in workflow console with RUNNING status.2. I activated the page . Then , i am seeing payload with ABORTED  in workflow console with comment "Auto terminated workflow with pay load  "/content/....."  for replicated page "/content............"

Hello, wonderful Marketo community!I'm working on creating an email that is fairly simple, except for two tiny pieces that are throwing me off. (Of course, these tiny pieces are the most important parts of the email!)Basically, what I need to do is have a snippet/token/whatever of dynamic content that refers back to a data sheet. In this case, we're trying to inform consumers of how much money they might be able to save in a rebate program that is being promoted, along with providing them an individual promotion code to enter. The dollar amount and promo code will come from a data sheet, which should be tied to individual customers.Mind you, I'm not the one in charge of segmenting that customer data or executing the campaigns. My job is simply to code the emails/landing pages, so my Marketo knowledge at-large might be spotty...Would this be better done with a snippet or a token? Hi there,I have a test that I'm trying to write where I need to take the last value of a variable before a conversion is made and pass it on to the server. Since I need the last value (and ONLY the last value), I need the javascript function in the offer code to run once the conversion has been made to ensure accuracy of results. Is there a way to invoke an offer's function right after a conversion is made?Thanks!

Does velocity scripting for email support a json attribute. I am thinking of creating a custom object, called "Custom Event", then having a field in that custom event with a stingified json payload. I have set up an A/B test to start a day later than i wanted to give myself time to make changes at the last minute if required. However even though the test is not supposed to start for over 24hours the status is "test running" and i cannot change the send test date. No test has been sent as yet. I thought it would as I assume the rules get applied in the order listed but this does not seem to be the case as my json is not cached.

As per the jackrabbit oak goal OAK repositories are meant to scale for larger child node (possibly millions - please correct if wrong)But how this is effective in case of AEM 6.x is not clear 1) Does it mean all the content node  and user/group nodes base jcr type are child nodes(inheriting) of oak:unstructured ( vs nt:unstructured / order able child nodes)2) How far AEM 6.x OOTB uses  oak:unstructured and what are list of node types that can be categorized for larger child nodes ?Please share your thoughts.

Hi all. In certain templates, I'm running into a case where I'm going to have to access the same information for several users multiple times. Given an ID, I'm wondering if there is a best practice for accessing their information (namely: email, name, phone number, and a couple other data points). Ideally I would be able to store that in a sightly object and access it like ${user.name} ${user.email} (and on).For some more background, this is for a news syndication system, and the user information will be used all over the place (article templates, news list components, author archive pages). My initial thought was to use a WCMUsePojo, although, I'm running into an unrelated issue with my basic use class not correctly reading in a passed id parameter, which is just generally making me consider other options.Thanks

Hi,As far as I'm aware, when I use the Summary Number visualisation, I can only use one cell per data source i.e. if I want a row of four summary numbers, all of which are from the same table, I have to duplicate the table 4 times in order to choose different cells for each.Would be good to be able to select multiple cells from one data source - or if this is already possible then please let me know how this can be done.ThanksAlex

When I pull occurrences in aggregate in Workspace, the number matches instances as reported by Analytics. However, when I break down occurrences by a conversion variable, occurrences is much higher than instances. Other metrics - such as page views - are consistent. Are instances and occurrences supposed to match? Why would the breakdown by conversion variable be changing the result?

Hi all,I am reading AEM integration with CDN (Akamai).As I understand, CDN caches the data and serves close to the location of the user, thus reducing the distance data has to travel.Let us say that my application has one Production Server with one dispatcher and both of these are deployed in Africa.Users of my site access it from Asia, Europe and USA.If I want to employ CDN,  should it have three nodes (Not sure what they are called) one for each of these three locations (Asia, Europe and USA)?Will the attached diagram describe this solution?Appreciate your help.Thanks,Rama.

Hi All, We have a requirement to pre populate the component dialog with osgi configuration values. We have to make the component compatible with Classic as well as Touch UI. We referred the below link for setting values in touch ui dropdown by using datasource. link :  https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/using/creating-granite-datasource.html Problem  -- In order to fetch the values we created a datasource.jsp and a corresponding bean. In the bean class we are not able to get the jspContext because we need to call the osgi config service.  we are not able to do so as null is coming for getSling() Could anyone please suggest how can we get the service reference to populate the datasource?  Thanks,Radhika
