Hi Community,

Does Adobe support X-HEADERS ?

 

We are seeing inboxing results for our campaigns splitting up and want to make use of custom headers.

 

We want to Identify a X-HEADER that can be used to store a unique campaign identifier.

 

How can we use the XPVIQ code within the delivery header in ACS?

They can be set on the delivery template. Click on STMP and the set the additional smtp headers field.

@johnwi12 , is there any reference document which can help me with further with the information , also, I am not able to find the delivery template, reading the help documentation it says message template can be managed by functional admin, under Resources> Templates menu. I have full access to the instance as far I am aware, any reason why I am not seeing this option to navigate to the message templates? appreciate your help.

Click the Adobe Campaign logo in the top left. Then you will see resources, Templates, then Delivery Templates.

@johnwi12, I did get to the screen where we can add the additional smtp headers. can you help me with this information, Does Adobe support x-headers? What x-header does Adobe support? We need a unique ID per campaign so that we can accurately pull seedlist inbox data.

Additional SMTP headers: This option allows for additional SMTP headers to be added to your messages. The script entered in the Headers field must reference one header per line, in the form of name:value. Values are encoded automatically if necessary.

@shelly-goel, @johnwi12 believing that it does support x headers, can you help me with the procedure to use one, We need a unique ID per campaign so that we can accurately pull seedlist inbox data.

We use it for a different reason but here is what the value is X-rpcampaign:FamilyLife​ID​. The ID is a personalization field and is the delivery id. FamilyLife is the organization that sent it.

@johnwi12 would you mind providing me steps to implement this? Any documentation for reference would be super helpful.
