What is enumeration types in Adobe campaign

Hi All,

I wan to understand what is enumeration exactly in ACC

I know enumeration is used schemas to assign values to a particular field but

now coming back to enumeration types..

there are 4 enumeration types

1.open

2.closed

3.system 

4.emotion

 

where these

enumeration types in Adobe campaign exaclty used and purpose of these numeration types..

 

when we use the enumeration tag in schema to assign vlaues, do we need to create enumeration??liek open close, just confused bout this enumeration concept in acc

 

please help me to understand here

Closed - In the enumeration field on Input form, if you don't want user to enter a new value in it, then you can choose Closed type enumeration and specify what are the allowed enumeration values for the enumeration.

Open - Here you can allow user to enter any value in the input form's enumeration field. And the value will get stored in enumeration.

System - These are mostly the enumeration which will be used technically which are created Out of the box.  

Emotion - In HTML delivery you can see few emojis. If you want to add new emoji, then in this emotion enumeration you have to add it.
