Campaign Classic v7 & Campaign v8

Hi ThereWe would like to enrich data coming from an external trigger for Message Center with data from recipient schema, however, there seems to be no clear feature available. If we look at the below document, there is a single quote mentioned without an explanation as to how or where can we do this. Dear All,We are facing an issue with time zone. When we try to access any delivery template especially DM templates we do get an error Value 'Australia/Melbourne' is not valid for enumeration 'Time zones (xtk:common:timezone)'.------The graphical component 'Time zone' has generated an error.------Could you please let me know how to solve this issue. Also I do have  few clarifications1. Can we add a new enumeration  for time zone in the out of the box schema ?2. How does AC takes the timezone while creating any templates or any records ?

How can I build a web form/application/smart link that people can click in Adobe Campaign to unsubscribe from my mailing list?Is there a way to make an opt-out link that when clicked, the person can tick boxes such as "do not contact me with any communication" "do not contact me by sms" "do not contact me by email" etc. ? I am guessing I have to build a new web form and map it to schemas such as iBlacklistEmail etc. but I have no idea where to begin. I don't know what to create in the web form to fulfill this purpose and I don't know how to create the link. Thanks so much

Hello:What I am trying to do is to add additional data to a query result(any data source including file import as well) using javascript, but I can't seem to find the solution for it.For example:Step1. Query a table "source", then I got some data backStep2.  using javascript to add another column to the result, say "newColumn" with value "aValue"I could achieve this by create additional data through enrichment, then set the value to be empty, and then in javascript, i simply do a sql update with the id. This works perfectly fine, however, in our case, this value should be populated dynamically, and we don't want to create this "dummy" column manually in enrichment everytime.I have tried using alter the temp table by using "alter tempTable add newColumn NUMBER(10)" in javascript, the execution does not throw any error, however, the "newColumn" is not available in the output(by clicking the "display the target"). Hi there,I am just wondering how to set up the direct mail channel in campaign classic?I am aware that I would probably have to set up something in the External Account section, but I really need a step-by step process on this as I can't figure it out. Also, how will it work once set up? I assume the company we are outsourcing our mail to will receive a csv file with all the recipients and their info, as well as a template for the physical mail (a pdf?)Any help on this is much appreciated.Thanks so much in advance !

Hi,I need help for understand one the functionality.We need put the delivery in flow, we have 3 options the deliveries:In tab “deliveries”, select “Email Delivery”In tab “deliveries”, select “Recurring Delivery”In tab “actions”, select “Delivery”The option 1 and 2, I can use the control group, but the option 3 I cannot use this functionality.It is possible use this functionality whit the option 3 (“Delivery”)?Thanks,Jéssica

I recently spent some time figuring out how to use variables in the file extraction of a recurring delivery.  I needed to have some conditional logic for a field in the file extraction.I did not find this in any of the online docs so posting this for others First note that workflow instance variables are not available during file extraction (I found this in this comment: Re: Use of variable in continuous delivery, how to do ? )I created a delivery variable and used the syntax $(variables/@variableName) in the file extraction field expression but was still getting an error stating "Parameter of query 'variables/@variableName' is not defined in current context."After a bit of trial and error I found that this syntax works in the field expression:  $(variableName)  No need to have the "variables" context as you do in other places of the delivery e.g. filename calculation.Not sure why that is different, but I hope this helps anyone else wanting to use variables in a file extraction field e

Hi,I had created this function, Substring([contact_history_vw/@mktg_promo_cell_key], 13, 6), for the following formula: Substr(MKTG_PROMO_CELL_KEY, 13,6).The expression is expressed in Adobe Campaign as, "sub string of mktg_promo_cell_key for ita_contact_history_vw starting at offst 13 of length 6":Not having access to the actual data field, "MKTG_PROMO_CELL_KEY,"  assuming that the values are CHAR, what does, "starting at offset 13 of length 6" mean? Is this correct Substring function for the query formula, "Substr(MKTG_PROMO_CELL_KEY, 13,6)"?Thank you.

The targeting dimension lets you define the population targeted by the operation (recipient, delivery, etc.) while the filtering dimension lets you define the way you want to retrieve the targeted population. For example, if you want to find all subscribers to a service, you can select recipients as targeting dimension and services as filtering dimension. In Adobe Campaign. I have created a Transnational Message/Delivery. This delivery has a Mirror page URL which displays the content of the deliver in the browser. As the content of the delivery is in English so when clicked on Mirror page URL it shows the content of the email in English in the browser. But i have a requirement, to display the content of the same email in the browser in German language.As far as I know when a message/delivery is triggered a mirror page is created on Adobe Campaign server, which is called when the Mirror page URL is clicked in email.Please advise.
