Adobe Workfront General

Does a 'Reviewer' based User ...that only reviews WF Proofs, consume a license?

Is there any way (currently or planned) to be able to report on items on a Kanban board. Ideally I'd like to be able to get the duration that any one card sits in each column on a Kanboan board, and from there get the average duration that any card sits in each column. And preferably be able to prompt this report by actual completion date. So, for example, for all cards that reached completion last month or year, what's the average duration that each card spent in each column, to be able to compare month/year over month/year averages.

Hi there -  This AM I was in a meeting and needed to quickly look up something in Experience League. I did get a popup about changing my display name and obviously couldn't get to it right then. I've now come back and this name seems permanent - I've already spent too much time trying to figure out the change - I don't see any option in Account Settings. Can someone please outline what I'm missing so I can get this "HE" out of my name here?  Thank you!

It happens to every system or group admin: one of your users is leaving the company, taking on a new role, or needs to switch groups. How do you find everything they own or are working on in Workfront so you can transfer ownership of their objects or reassign their work? Well, we’ve built a dashboard for this purpose! Released as a blueprint, this dashboard contains 13 reports to help you find, reassign, or otherwise manage the objects and assignments associated with a user departing your purview of Workfront. A few things to note:  The reports on the dashboard have been built to support the needs of a wide audience and it’s likely that you will need to change filters, views, and groupings on some reports to better meet your organization’s needs.  You may not need all the reports, so feel free to remove them.  All reports have tags in their descriptions for searchability: #offboarding Please note that for active project, task, and issue appr

Is it possible to add the Risks and Issues links to the left navigation on the Team page, similar to how it is displayed on the Project page.

Does anyone know where I can find the Workfront GUI number?

My team is looking for the best way to capture editable/dynamic notes and information for projects. This is something other tools, like Wrike, Clickup and Asana all have. Please don't suggest the project details description box or custom forms with a paragraph box -- these are not useful. OneNote would be great; however, you can't attach OneNotes to the Workfront Documents space. Microsoft Word docs on SharePoint could be useful, but they are burdensome and doesn't perfectly address the need. This issue has been brought up in this community several times over 5+ years. Does Workfront have something on the roadmap to address this glaring gap? Without a good note-taking system, information about projects is fragmented across OneDrives, SharePoint, Workfront documents and Workfront project details.  This issue is resulting in my team looking to move away from Workfront. What are other teams doing to keep all project planning information easily accessible and editable? I must

Our users have long enjoyed the ability for us to put "External Links" on their Dashboards (with a height of 1) that basically acted like links to other dashboards in Workfront. For example "Team Activities" shown here is a link to a Dashboard inside of Workfront, and it works still because it was created awhile back. However we can't change it and we can't create new links like it.  Only recently, I've started to get error messages preventing that say this is no longer allowed. (please see screenshot). Is this intentional? Our pain point is ...now we have some existing Links on these Dashboards that still work, because they were created before this restriction was put in place. But we can't edit them nor create new ones for our users. What was the rationale behind adding this restriction, and can it be pulled back? This is perceived as a drop in service level by our users. (Workaround to use TinyURL is a possibility but not ideal.)

Hello!!!I think this is an easy one, but I'm stuck!  This field is formatted as Text, and the TOTAL POINTS for EVENT field is formatted as a number. I have the first line working:IF({DE:TOTAL POINTS for Event}>46,"Tier 1") I can't seem to figure out how to add additional IF statements for other ranges.  These are the ranges I'm trying to add:>46Tier 130-45Tier 219-29Tier 310-28Tier 4<10Out of Scope / Reg Only Thank you!!!! 🙂Kat

Do you know any workfront admin looking for work? https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/workfront-job-board-discussions/hiring-workfront-admins-to-work-in-basking-ridge-hybrid-once-2/m-p/602976/highlight/true#M22 The position is closed

Does Workfront Reports support Requests/Issues that are still not Submitted and currently in Drafts. Thanks for the help.

How do I restrict the hour types on my timesheet to only show Billable Hours or only show Task Hours. Looking for solutions on a template level. Thanks

HiI have the simplest of simple reports that isn't working. It's a Notes type and the only filter isNote/User ID = $$USER.ID This should show any updates I've been tagged in, right? It shows 8 items and the last one was in 2021.  I just want a list of updates for user looking at the report. Where am I going wrong? Is Notes not the right report type? I am baffled.

My Dashboard shows a summary of the oldest request received. The way we have our assigned to field set up is using a custom form with a "Home Group Name". When using this field as a grouping to display the oldest date, the name is very messy and does not look professional. Is there any way to update the Grouping in Text Mode to show this cleaner. I'm attaching a screenshot so you can see what it looks like in my dashboard. Thank you in advance! Below is my text mode for the Grouping.group.0.linkedname=assignedTogroup.0.namekey=view.relatedcolumngroup.0.valuefield=assignedTo:PNO | Home Group Namegroup.0.namekeyargkey.0=assignedTogroup.0.namekeyargkey.1=PNO | Home Group Namegroup.0.iscollapsed=truegroup.0.valueformat=customDataLabelsAsStringtextmode=true

How to create a filter for projects to check whether the project is shared system wide or not?

Are you able to edit an update you posted after it’s posted. For example, if I post something and realize I spelled something wrong or a word got autocorrected to a different word and I didn’t notice until after I hit post. I would want to go in and edit that word to make it correct.   I hit the menu button for the post but only see delete the comment as an option, not edit the comment. If I wanted to go in an edit that word do I have to copy the text from the update, delete the update, create a new update, paste the copy in, edit it then hit post again?

I often have people on the team with a Work license who see the Workload Balancer when their manager views it, and they ask for a view like that. I can understand why they wouldn't have access to manage, but I don't see the rationale behind disallowing view access from it. I tried adding the link to a dashboard, and that sort of works, but they have no way to filter it, so then they're seeing every person's workload on the entire team, so it's not as useful. Is there a way to add a filter that would be usable in the dashboard, or is there another way to create this view access that I'm not seeing?

Hi, I want to add a calculated (currency) field to my custom form that calculates a sum value based on the options selected in the multi-select field. SUM(IF(Field A multiselect="NL 01",25,IF(Field A multiselect="NL 02",50,0))) When I select one option, the calculation works. However, when I select multiple options, the calculation fails. Does anyone have an idea how to solve this riddle ;)?

Hi all, Whilst updating a calculated field had an error I get the following error "field name is used in a multi-form configuration, if you would like to change this formula you will need to remove this field and replace it with a new one containing the desired calculation"The field is used in a lot of other custom forms which are then used in project templates, does the error message mean that there is a template/s which have more than one custom form which each uses this calculated field? If so, is there an easy way of determining with the templates are? I can't simply create a new field as the existing one is used a great deal across our Workfront instance.  Thanks in advance.

I am trying to identify the oldest open request in our queue, but I do not want to see the count. I only want the report to display the Oldest Open Request. Is this possible? The only filters I am  using is Actual Completion Date null and Group ID for the group I am reporting on.
